Chasing Dreams - Short Film

A trailer for a piece Written and Directed by me. When I was 19 years old, this was my first venture into the world of making movies. This was the first trailer that was created as part of an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign. The campaign also included concept art, camera tests, animation tests, custom assets, and more.

Chasing Dreams Sonnet

To dream a dream among chains so blissful,

Is to break free of chains and to move on.

To dream a dream among chains is wistful,

Break free break free in chase of true white dawn.

A canopy above a ground below,

Catch up to what is ahead, attain love.

Catching up is the goal, however though,

Attainable is not, the true white dove.

Lost but found, found but lost, ‘tis me alone,

A parade, a real parade welcomes me.

This is my chance, mine alone to atone,

Guide me in the direction of the key.

To dream a dream among chains so blissful,

Break the chains to ‘come stamen and pistol.
